MUSIC

Worship through Song

Understanding that we were created to worship God, we seek to lead the congregation in music that draws them into God’s presence and encourages a sincere response of devotion, honor and praise to Him. We seek to do this using various musical forms that are centered on God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit: are biblically based; and celebrate God’s work in Christ. As leaders of worship, we desire to use our musical gifts in an excellent manner; seeking to draw attention to our God who created us to worship.

“Oh come, let us sing to the LORD; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!”
Psalm 95:1

Music In A Time Of Covid

Current Crestwood Worship

As with all other organizations, businesses and…  well everyone, we are learning as we go!  We have found that during this season of restrictions and precautions due to the Coronavirus, less is more when is comes to our worship style.  We are blessed to have a wonderfully flexible and talented worship team who diligently work to bring genuine worship experiences to our Crestwood friends, near and far, from the safety of their homes.  These worship experiences are a thoughtfully and prayerfully curated blend of contemporary and traditional music styles, accompanied by our generously talented worship ensemble.

Crestwood Music Ministry (when we’re not in a pandemic)

We are thrilled to offer a variety of opportunities to get involved with Crestwood’s music ministry, no matter what your age.  From the children’s choir (beginning at age 5 years old), the contemporary worship team, music ensembles and adult choir, you’re sure to find just the right fit.   There is even an opportunity to operate a soundboard and tech booth for the ministry-minded tech enthusiasts!
